Default 2001 LS430 wheel spacers

My rims are corroded and leaking. Won't hold air. I have some nice 17" rims in my garage off another car that I was going to put on. They rub on the caliper though. Anybody know what size spacer to use so I don't have to cut off the original studs? I know it needs to be 5x114.3 and 60.1mm bore.

I'm looking at the hubcentric and I'll need hubcentric rings as well. I just don't want to have to change the original studs

The size of spacer you need depends on the wheel you're trying to bolt on.
Easy way to check - get a bunch of washers.
Take off the old wheel, and slide the washers onto your wheel bolts (just need to slide them onto 3 of the bolts).
Then keep trying your new wheel. No need to bolt it on, just push it flat across the three studs with the washers and tey to rotate it.
Keep adding a washer until you have no more rubbing.
Then slide the washers off and measure the stack. You would need to buy a spacer that is that wide or wider.

You could maybe get away with a 5mm spacer without needing longer bolts but anything more and you have two choices:
Longer wheel bolts, or the type of spacer that bolts to your hub, and then has additional bolts that go into your wheel.

Go to this link and you'll see the different types of spacers offered based on width etc. But again keep in mind for safety on our cars, anything beyond 5mm and you'll need to address lug length one way or another...

Thanks for the reply. The type I'm looking for is the ones that bolt on then you bolt your wheel onto that. My concern is that if the original ones stuck out past the spacer. You'd have to cut them off. Maybe it's not a concern as I've never used them before.

Look behind the wheels you want to use. If they are OEM wheels, they typically have an indent between the lug holes that the the original ones can poke into.
Of course it will depend on how thick your spacers are since that determines how much is sticking out, but that's the idea!

The pic above, look between the holes and you'll see the indents that the lugs can poke into.

If (lug length - spacer width) < (indent depth) you should technically be ok...

They're aftermarket universal 5 bolt. No indentation.

Okay then you will probably have issues with that type of spacer!
Might be a better option to locate a used set of OEM wheels, good quality spacers will set you back $200+ for a set of 4 anyway
