Funny you just posted this as I just finished doing my ls430 and 2000 trans am. I was cleaning and looked at the seats which my drivers seat is showing wear. Thought about going to buy $20 cleaner and conditioner and then I thought "oh yea, leather is skin basically". I happened to buy Lou-Anna coconut oil to cook with and found it, like coconut, had a laxative effect and cut it out of my diet. So I got it and let it sit in the sun and just applied it to the seats as an experiment. I did a thin layer that's currently sitting/soaking in. Googled it and yes, coconut oil is perfectly safe. You can clean the seats with a 1:4 vinegar/water solution first and then apply. I did my trans am too and found you have to allow a soak in time...its super slippery right now but the Lexus which sat for awhile is already soaking it in. I'll get some pics. Cheapest leather conditioner out there and no harmful chemicals. It may take s few coats but its having great results. Doing a coat when getting to work in the morning and letting the car bake in the sun should have great results too for loosening up stiff leather

You must not have tried very hard to look, there's a whole sub-forum dedicated to Automotive Care & Detailing, and one of the stickied threads is all about Lexus Leather
