Hello all,

I was hoping to get some advice from those of you who have the VAIS tech device installed for iphone integration with their factory stereos. So I bought and installed the unit (MML-T1) and followed the initial programming ( emulation setup). According to the instructions, I was supposed to use MD Change emulation mode. The programming completed as explained the the instructions. However, when I select the input on the head unit, it does not seem to recognize the aux device.

Any suggestions? did anyone have to do anything outside of the VIAS instructions to get theirs to work?

I have attached the programming instructions I followed and I did hear the beeps, etc. that were described.

 

I put my vaistech in the bin and bought a system that works.

I've used the SL3b-L in my '06 LX470 & '01 LS430 with beautiful results. It's been a fantastic unit for me with flawless operation.

A few questions:

- Can you tell us about the physical connections you made to the back of the radio?
- Does the unit auto acknowledge the I Agree for you?
- Which iPhone model are you connecting to the USB cable?
- Do you have Satellite Radio aside from your VAIS unit?

You made a good choice with he VAIS unit, whatever the issue is we'll get it solved.
