Nice buy !!
Check out Yahoo Japan auctions for air shocks as second hand sets can be had really cheap .
\When I say cheap they are like $200 to $300 a set to buy in Aus dollars so with US dollars even less , plus freight of course .
Means you can have spares on your shelf ready to go if you need one .
Also check out and see if the late air suspension pumps still have Silica gel in them to take the moisture out of the air .
My 1992 LS400 had this and I just replaced it with new silica , cheap and easy to do .
I have just bought a 2001 LS430 with air and I will be checking this out for myself .
I actually will not only purchase a spare set of air shocks but for around $80 or so I will get a spare pump as well .
