Default shock & Strut Assembly

I brought my 2006 LS 430 in for the 122,000 mile check. Much to my surprise it actually required some work.

Shock & Strut Assembly, Remove & replace
Strut mount kit
Stabilizer Bar Control, Remove & Replace
$1500.00

Just wondering if others have had to do this.
My car has been relatively maintenance free with the exception replacing the timing belt during the prior big service check.

Mechanic says it will run forever.

Thanks for your input.

There are a lot of ancillary parts to consider that can change the price drastically. Could you post a pic of the invoice? Plz block out any personal info, address, etc...

For OEM parts? I won’t be surprised if this is the invoice for just the front part of the car plus rear stabilizer

OEM are always good choice if you want to retain original ride.

for my recent suspension upgrade I had a budget of only 1 thousand dollars. I bought two new front control arm thick bushings from IS model pressed in brackets, and purchased all four new struts assemblies with new springs, mounts, and struts themselves manufactured by Tein in Japan. Did install myself. The result is incredible.

However, I tend to believe that authentic OEM or OE struts are superior in durability than anything else in the market for this model.
