Default LS430 on Jalopnik's NPCP

I read Jalopnik now and again and saw that a LS430 UL showed up on their "Nice Price or Crack Pipe" series today:

https://jalopnik.com/at-11-000-is-th...-ul-1837867368

Looks like a decent car, but I agree with some of the comments, if you're going to ask a strong price (IMHO, they are), you can't at least vacuum the damn car before taking a picture??

Looks like "Crack Pipe" is solidly in the lead right now.

My favorite are the misinformed folks that claim they can purchase an older LS460 for a few grand more. Have fun with control arms, melting/ashy dashboards, wind noise, brake actuators etc.

Interior looks like a dumpster.

Last I checked, they’re not misinformed because you CAN have an LS460 for that same price or a few grand more, which will get you a 2010 that doesn’t have those problems AND doesn’t have the interior that only granny could love.

Both the LS460 and LS430 are good cars, but it always makes me laugh how upset LS430 members get when they hear about an LS460. Calm down kiddo, appreciate that they’re both good cars with their own inherent flaws.
Sure you can get an LS460 for a few grand more. Is it a better car? Debatable. Does it have more gadgets that truly enhance the driving experience? Not really.

I don't think the control arm issues were fully fixed until the 2013 refresh. Risky proposition, and other issues with 460's too as others have mentioned. Completely different vehicle.

I had a 2010 460L and it was nothing but trouble. Went back to the 430 and never regretted it for one second. 430 hands down a better car.
