Door Lock actuator? uh oh...
So I just picked up a 04 LS430 and noticed the passenger side does not want to lock/unlock. It requires me to manually lock and unlock it from the inside. From what I've reach from the forum, it sounds like it might be the $5-10 actuator motor that is out. Instead of bringing it to the dealer to get this fixed, I am gonna try it myself to save a ton of money.
If i have the soft-close doors, is this the correct actuator motor? What are the chances that it's not the actuator that is causing the problem?

That’s the right motor for it the 4 pack is more worth it at 27$ for 4 my experience with the soft close assembly was super simple remove all the screws and bolts also keep track where they go, than to separate the plastic cover i wedged a ravor blade in between to separate the glue then out goes the motor
tripe check that everything works before closing the door and leave a window down you don’t want to brake a window like me lol
