Smile Polyurethane Bushings - Front - 2004

To complement the upgraded rear suspension on my LS430, I'm going to replace the front sway bar bushings with polyurethane bushings.

The stock bushings have 110K miles on them. I put the sport sway bar on the rear, and would like to tighten up the front to match, and I'd like to do it without springing for a new sway bar. I also want to avoid adding harshness to the ride. The bushings have arrived. Once I get them installed, I let you know what it does for ride harshness.

I run on the 17" OEM rims, with stock size 55-series tires, and plan to keep that setup to avoid the harshness that 50-series 18" wheels might introduce..

The bushings that mount the bar to the body or the end links? For the bushings that mount the bar to the body, I noticed no improvement whatsoever.

Here is the thread I made when I installed them; https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...g-upgrade.html

Where did you purchase your rear sport sway bar from?

Recently replaced the front sway bar bushing with polyurethane, noticed no difference at all as well. I used the same as Romanova, i just put a larger washer so the bolts held the brackets squarely.
