Wow,

So you picked up the LS430 that was priced at $15k from Sewell. Congrats!

The previous owner was meticulous in their care of this car and kept every record of service. Loving it so far and will drive it till the wheels fall off!

I’ll be diving in and doing the timing belt/water pump on it in a few weeks (been there and done that on my wife’s GX, semi simple job coming from working on land rovers)

Nice.... Glad you are really happy with it, Mike! Sometimes, may have to be willing to reach for an original owner 81,200 mile 2006 if it may be 2 legit 2 quit....

(Maybe let Sewell work it off by you taking advantage of the complimentary car wash every time you are near the dealership in it and have 5 minutes...?)

Don't feel bad... I paid a pretty penny for my one owner 06 two years ago. Had 77k and I was happy to pay $14k for it. So much car for the money...

Indeed it’s a tremendous car for the money! Just wrapping up the timing belt job, so she should be good to go for many more years!

Nice.... May you please post a photo of the used timing belt with your comments assessing its condition...?

looking at the old belt after 81,700 miles and it still looks new. There were no signs of any seepage coming from the water pump either. So long story short, did it need the job? Yes, because now I feel better driving down the road! Few hours of my time and a few hundred bucks is well worth it

Also, may be an indication of 81,000 easy miles ... which is nice....
