Not kidding the only way to recognize the difference is the OE is gray, not black. The Centrics are gloss black, AND, the insides of the hats are painted. The actual surface of the discs are ground the same way. That's why I thought the dealer took me when they said they would do the brakes with OE. But then again, they provided the Lexus boxes with all the used parts. As the discs get all dirty from the road, it becomes harder to tell as the gloss black hats are not dull black, close enough to gray. Hey, I'm willing to spend esp. if quality is the issue. But it's this very forum that got me to go Centric when I saw $27 on amazon. They've been on the car for a year and fine (rears--huge savings since rear > fronts for cost).

When you think about auto parts in general, in many cases, aftermarket has a lifetime warranty. OE for almost every make is only 1/12. (lifetime is not the case obviously with Centric rotors, I'm just saying other parts)
