To answer the only question or statement........regarding sporty........Im not gunna claim an ES is sporty with regards to how fast its 0 to 60 is or how it handles like its on rails. I will say my goal was to maintain all of the amazing traits of the LS but in a more modern sleek wrapper and I believe I achieved that goal. As for the kind of driving that I do the ES with 2016 technology is plenty fun to drive. I just sold a Porsche 968 last summer....ya it was fun.....but not practical at all and not meant to be. The ES will get the job done with class and I think its a lot of car for the money.

Thanks 430SL.......it was a hell of a hunt.........lets see if I can get a pic to post......
That does look quite nice, has some 460 vibes going on!

Out of curiosity how many miles does it have and how much did you pay? Thanks

Actually I hate to admit those numbers because I did not do very well. I had researched every car I had driven and knew all the numbers but I wasnt there for an ES I was there to look at a Lincoln MKZ..........I literally bumped into the ES and the relationship started immediately. I asked if we could take it for a spin and we did....buy the time I got back with the car there was a porter waiting to drive it to another on of their dealerships where a customer was waiting to see it. I said hold on a second let me think about this.........They were cool and literally gave me 30 minutes to make some calls etc but then with my only research being on the GS with higher miles..I committed to this ES...........the reason I committed was that for a used car this one was flawless......it had the color package that I wanted.......it had the 18 inch wheel package.......and it had far less miles then most lease returns..........So I paid more for the car that was right in front of me so I didnt have to spend a couple of weeks tracking down another one in the same condition.
To answer your question
21k miles......
paid 25 K ouch.....
new the car sold for almost 50k which is the only way I can justify my decision.
You will see hundreds of ESs selling for 20k with 39k miles on them but will they have my color combo....my wheels....and the condition? All that said if I could do it again I would take the ES with 39k on it and brand new tires...same color combo.....for 20k........

I've been OCD with all my cars my entire life. Rule # 1 .....Always park at an end spot. Reduces the possibilities of damage by 50%! It works.

Congrats on the ES!

Yes, I almost always curb every car, at the furthest spot from the venue, because on the end at the nearest ensures the highest possible traffic on 1 side. 1 side does not guarantee but does reduce.

Well you know how I treat rentals like my own. This Tue. we fly in and I have my coworker with me as he's being groomed though in my mind young (born 1991). So the dynamics change, I tell him I just like to get the car with lower miles what's that one? Oh ok let's take this one (2020 Altima) and off we go the office is 80 miles away. After work I notice THE REAR 1/4 IS DENTED!! I tell him hey you mind if you're on your own for dinner I gotta get this straightened out.

I really had no clue wth was gonna happen. I know the car was in our possession from the airport, and where we parked nobody parked next to us. 100%. So that was there before. But how the **** are they gonna know?

This has happened only 1X and the other time I caught it 15 min. later so very believable that I didn't do it. Well, the rental car agency believed me? huh? Apologized and gave me another car double upgraded. Kinda restored my faith in humanity ain't gonna lie even if my employer handles as we're self-insured it's not fair, I didn't do it. And then the demeanor of the rental agency was really good so made a bad situation good. Never again am I not going to look very closely before leaving the lot.
