That is right in line with its market value given its mileage. It's nice that apparently the owner didn't have to fight tooth and nail to get a fair settlement.

6k for an '01 would be high unless it has low mileage and/or is in exceptional condition.

146,000 miles. All original and flawless paint and interior. No dents, or scratches other than the normal hood chips. No paint work anywhere on car except bumper covers. Always garaged since new. What do you guys think? $5,000-$6,000? Silver/Ash Int

You may ask your insurance company for a range...? Who knows what it will say. https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/l-Used...ting=259777251

I see that you're in Houston too. Good deal. It should be easy to quickly replace the car with another low mileage LS. They pop up pretty frequently here.

This was a fourth car for us. I'm assuming our insurance company will jam us up the next time our policy is due to renewal, so I'm not going to replace the LS. Still have a Lexus though (2016 GS-F), so I'm glad of that.

Man, for a moment, i thought that was my car. Same exact colors. This looks like i10 around bunker hill? Sorry for your loss.
I'll keep an eye around salvage auctions. Do you mind sharing which insurance company you have?
