Default Lexus- light up your emblems

I have a White 2004 LS430 It is pristine inside and out with 57,000 miles on it. I love the car and will not sell it. It drives so well. The other night I saw a Mercedes with the front grill star logo lit up in blue light. That looked really great so I wondered why can't I have a backlight of any color on my front Lexus emblem to highlight my grill as well. For days I have looked for a light kit that would do this but could not find anything for Lexus. They have for older Mercedes, BMW, Audi but not for Lexus. I don't want to mess up my electrical system for this minor thing but would like to find something. Does anyone have any ideas on this matter. As always, thanks to all.

Its tacky. The car shouldn't have to light up its emblem for it to be recognized

could not agree more. Lighted emblems are even tackier than the gold emblem packages dealers used to force customers to pay for.

It is your car. Do whatever you like. (It may look very cool.) While I like my LS 430 completely stock, I like that people are doing things with their LS 430s, helping to keep the LS 430 relevant.
Like you, have seen many Mercedes air, land, and sea three-pointed LED stars for grills but not LS 430 LED Ls for the grill. (Did see this LED front emblem light https://www.ebay.com/itm/401998459326)
But this guy found one somewhere:

Thanks for all your input. If Mercedes can put a subtle blue backlight on it's front circular front grill logo emblem , which looks great on it's new $100,000 cars I don't see that same kind of thing on the Lexus LS430 front emblem would be tacky? My car is like showroom new and can carry it well. I can see if someone may have a worn down weather beaten vehicle it may not look appropriate. Having said that it looks like it is to complicated a thing for me to do for such a minor addition to the car. The car is always admired just the way it is. If there was a simple easy way to provide a subtle backlight I would do it in a New York minute. Thanks again

Just tap your running light wires, so whenever they are on your emblem will be too.

What's tacky is someone commenting in that way about what you want to do on your own car... in a thread you started looking for help and not opinions!
I posted a link above to an ebay listing that should hopefully be what you're looking for.
if you do this i would be interested to see pics of the final product!

The product you linked is for a deck lid. By any chance have you seen a product for the grill emblem?

I dont have my car to measure but check the dimensions they gave, it might work for the grill!
there are others for sale on ebay if you search for lexus led emblem, with different sizes. They can go on the front or back if they will fit in place of your stock emblem

You're right I only came to this forum for advice on what I can do for my situation and that information has been greatly helpful and I thank those who went out of their way to help me. I did not come to this site to be Told that my request was Tacky. That was uncalled for and I think I responded completely and totally on target to those who brought that into a conversation which only asked for help not negative comments. Thanks Ellesse for your kind thoughts and words.
