Default Caster way out of wack, new bushings/brackets enough?

My mechanic is having a hard time dialing in the caster on my LS. The driver side is currently reading at 5.48 degrees and the passenger side is at 8.53 degrees.

I know the caster bushings could use replacing as they are starting to crack and the passenger side caster bushing isn't oriented properly (rubber nub is at about 4 o'clock. I have a hard time believing that this alone would account for such a large swing in caster readings.

I want to order new bushings and new brackets to help dial the caster in. I see that Lexus has three part numbers for the brackets to help adjust caster:

48652-50030 - regular bracket
48652-50040 - adjusts caster by +30'
48652-50050 - adjusts caster by -30'

Seeing how the different brackets only account for half a degree of adjustment, I'm hoping that simply orienting the bushing correctly will get the numbers back into spec. Does anyone know how much does improper alignment of the bushing affects the caster readings?

I plan on replacing them, I'm just trying to figure out if replacing and correcting orientation of a bushing would result in a several degree change of caster. It's possible something else may be going on. Trying not to just throw money blindly at the problem.

Absolutely, mine changed by 5 degrees on nearly all measures

I will post some pics later but get yourself some IS250 caster housings as they are exactly the same as the LS430 ones apart from being alloy .
Get some Superpro bushes to put in them and you can get them in stock or in offset , I went for offset as wanted the car to turn better , both come in medium and hard , I went for hard and after just doing an 1100 K round trip I discerned no increase in NVH .
I was able to pick up the IS250 housings for $100 and the bushes cost me $150 .
Best thing was being able to just swap the new ones in .
