Driver side Lock Wont Unlock/Lock with key | Actuator Works with Fob not Blade
TL-DR - Using the keyfob, car unlocks and locks so all lock actuators work. However, key blade when inserted to driver door lock cylinder, it will not unlock/lock. Whats the cause & solution?
So as long as I've had this car, and known it under my dads ownership, the key fob works to unlock/lock the car and all the lock cylinders inside, glove box, trunk/gas lock, and the outside trunk lock all work with the key. However, when you put the key into the driver door key cylinder and turn it to lock/unlock, nothing happens. And, of coarse, all my search's turn up replacing the actuator or replacing the ignition key cylinder, its hard to word it into a search but I think this situation is even rare among this community.

And for those who fixed it, how you go at it?
Lock cylinder in this car has a break away feature to prevent brute force entry via the door lock. Check to make sure yours was not tripped and if it was get it repaired
There is a metal rod that goes from the lock cylinder to the actuator. It's held on the lock cylinder by a plastic clip. I would pull the door panel off and check to make sure this rod is still attached. If it is the problem is in the actuator.
My money is on a broken key **** on your actuator. It is the white plastic part in the bottom corner of your door lock actuator. I've seen a bunch of those split over the years.
