@LatinLS430 , here is the pic. Sorry not too sexy, all plastic bags.

I included a picture of the Bell box that was loosely and poorly packed. Fortunately pretty strong metal stuff that seems to be undamaged but that is a bare end of a control arm sticking out. I sent them the pics, and explained I would have been willing to pay for some shipping for more time and care spent, though I completely understand they cannot control how the shipper handles the box. Dan Dickerson's response was "Yeah, that's how we usually send control arms and we rarely see damage. Just let us know how you would like to proceed." I appreciate the customer service attitude and Bell is great and I will continue to use them, but it would be nice to seem more taping around the wrapping.

That is frustrating, but at least everything made it. You spent some money on that haul! I know how much those uppers are when I did mine last year. I've done about everything except the lower control arms and the tie rods... probably be doing those soon just to check them off the list.

Hey @Romanova ! Good to see you; feel like it's been a little while. Yes, sir, $1005 at Bell and $800 at Amayama (after they very honestly came back and said the shipping was lower than they charged me and they refunded me $50!! LOVE that.) Probably would have been $3k at a regular dealer. Of course you're going to strangle me, but I think you've seen me mention before I don't do my own labor on stuff like this, so it goes to the shop on Monday the 19th. I've saved for it, so I'm ready. Yeah, the uppers are quite a bit more which is strange since the lowers are so much bigger, but I think it is much more related to demand since the uppers I was told don't often need to be replaced. Amayama could only provide 1 upper, so they charged $232 for an upper and Bell charged $396 for the other, list at $651, zoikes!
went a little overboard here, but I just didn't want something else to need replacing in 3 months (anything can happen still, but some insurance...). I wanted that joy of that one member in New York on some thread who spent nearly $6k at the dealer having his 02 front suspension redone and said he didn't miss the money at all, that NYC had destroyed his car and it felt brand new again.
Anyway, @funcrusher and I are all set to go here.

That sucks about the box! I was worried mine would be destroyed but all 3 were in good shape. Just waiting on my mechanic to finish up some big projects then I’m dropping mine off. I’ll work under the hood on some things, but I hate messing with suspension stuff. Not fun at all with no lift. I wonder how many years before I should do the entire rear suspension

I'm at a point in my life where I have more money than time so I am more willing to let someone else do the work. Thankfully, I have a great mechanic for my fleet who doesn't mind when I supply the parts. Enjoy it once the work is done, should handle like new!

Rear for me will be a 2025 thought; I'm done for now.

So I've been following this thread and have ordered a crapton of front end parts for my 2006 LS430. Because my whole front end clunks and squeaks and feels loose, I'm replacing everything on the front end. I've watched some youtube videos, but what I'd really like is a printed flow chart; step by step written instructions about replacing everything. It's just easier for me to read instructions than try to find things on youtube. Is there a manual I need to buy? Or are there some written instructions anywhere?
Thanks in advance.

One of our previous members had some great how-tos. Start here, it covers a few things.
