Default Any other gold LS430s?

First post here, so hi folks! I'm from the UK, and a recent new owner of a 2002 LS430. Picked it up with only 82k miles on the clock!

I bought this car as a daily, but I'm also a fan of modified cars and don't think I'll be able to keep it bone stock for too long... although I'll just be starting with interior mods like changing bulbs to LEDs or other small changes.

When I've been looking to find exterior inspiration, it seems near impossible to find pics of gold LS430s, let alone modified gold ones! Are there many gold LS430 owners on the forums here? If so, show me what you got!

My old man tan. Before/after I had to get the wheels powder coated. I like the chrome much better but it was pitting on the beads and leaking air. Pretty much all stock. Next time I will do silver wheels I think

Looks mint, Peacebay! I like the chrome wheels, we never get those over in the UK, and I think silver would suit it well too. Wheel colour is a difficult choice with the gold cars that's why I'm interested to see what others have gone for!

Thanks. Yea, wheel color is very tough. Black looks terrible, gunmetal looks kind of off, sliver is pretty boring but really is the only choice I guess. Another compromise when owning a gold car I guess

Hahaha yep. I'm wondering how a bronze or a gold would look! It's so rare to find any pics of good looking gold ones with aftermarket wheels online, hence why I've tried to start this thread lol

Any other gold LS430s? Yeah, many. They just don't want to admit and and be seen in it. j/k.

Looks like a nice mint car. Congratulations! By the way, my first car was gold.

Actually I don't mind my gold LS430! The previous owner tinted the windows and did put black wheels that i like. I think tinted windows compliment the gold color better.

I bought it when i was 36 years old

Hahaha nice. I think they're awesome, black and silver are safe options that will always good, but gold takes more work to look awesome!

Damienqc that's actually really good looking - first gold one I've seen that looks really good with black wheels! I'm definitely going to be installing the darkest (legal) tints that I can, but will probably go for a lighter colour with wheels. Thanks for sharing!

Gold LS Roll Call! I know many despise the color however, I love the classic old look.

Bronze definitely crossed my mind, but I think it would be too much for an otherwise stock 430. On some built big body it would be pretty striking I bet.

Our 05 is Gold, but I'd rather not share a pic right now because it's so dirty.... Just haven't had a chance to give it a bath in a while.

I like my ‘01 Golden Girl, named her ‘Rydeen’ after the Yellow Magic Orchestra song. Sadly neighbors across the street knicked her but getting it fixed, but other than that she’s been flawless. I prefer the gold over the bland black, silver, and white models.

I'm not crazy about it because Gold seems to limit the mod choices. I don't think dark tint nor dark rims look good on it. If my paint wasn't so flawless I'd wrap it Dark Cherry or Flint Mica. I had it ceramic coating last Fall which should hold me 18 months. By that time I may pull the trigger on a new color.

Ha, me too! Complete with the beige leather and wooden interior is perfect.

Very clean car you have.

Do you know how much it is to paint the entire car in Flint Mica? thanks
