Default Techstream setting for unlocking doors w/ smart key?

Does anyone know if there is a setting in the Techstream that will unlock all 4 doors if you open a single door using the proximity sensor (smart key)?

I like being able to leave the fob in my pocket but I often drive with family/friends and it's annoying that they always try to open their door once they hear mine unlock or I have to use the fob to unlock all the doors which sort of defeats the purpose of the proximity sensors.

I have already changed the feature so when I hit unlock on the fob, all the doors unlock, but I was hoping that the same would happen if I used the door handles.

I tried and no such thing. Have to use the smart key if you want all doors unlock.

You don't need Techstream. Press and hold both the trunk open and unlock buttons and watch your dash screen, it will show sign of opening only the driver door, to both doors on driver side, to all 4 doors. From then on every time you unlock the driver door all other doors will open

Must be possible as that is exactly how my UK model 2004 LS430 works.
You approach with SmartKey on you, and when you touch the drivers door handle it unlocks all 4 doors.

Are you talking about navigation screen? Mine doesn’t have navigation

Tried it several times and nothing. How long are you supposed to hold the buttons down? And when do you hold the button down? When the car is off completely?

In the owners manual, in the description of the smart key system, there is a section "changing the doors to be unlocked". P. 30 of my '05 owners manual. Post 4 is correct, hold the buttons down for 5 seconds and look at the dash. I did this a while back to get all the doors to automatically unlock when the smart key is detected near the driver door.

Do this with the ignition switch off.

For those who also want to do this, here are the instructions (page 9 in my manual, 2006)

Just did this and got it to work. Had been trying the wrong buttons previously.

TRUNK + LOCK work.
