Got a Ls430 a month ago I live in hawaii but my gps screen dose not display the roads for hawaii. Does anyone know how to update it? Which CD will work for the a 04, most updated if possible and do I need the cd drive under the radio in order to use the cd please help

The navigation DVD player is located in the trunk and is totally separate from your audio system (CD drive under the radio). Please take a look at the link below for more details...

Also, I do not believe the LS430 navigation DVD covers Hawaii.

As poster wrote, no Hawaii, no Alaska.... Your cd drive is for audio cds, e.g. music and etc. (Gen 5 does have Hawaii)
