Has Anyone Replaced an Amplifier in LS430?
I was told I need a new Amplifier for my 2004 LS430. I won't dare go to a Lexus dealer for their High costs but I need an Amplifier which will take my Mark Levenson Lexus system. If there is anyone familiar with this situation I would appreciate your input. Thank you.

WELDTHEDIF;; The radio does not go on right away sometimes. Sometimes it takes 4 to 5 min. to go on lately even longer.Once it's on and I'm driving I can turn it on and off like it had no problem. Also when I put it on and hear nothing there are no beeps on any commands when I use the screen like putting the air on and off and when I adjust the air speed. You only hear the beep on screen commands when the radio is working. Thanks

Good point, I'll check for any dampness in trunk and although I never had any speakers replaced It was told to me a couple of years ago that all my speakers and subwoofers were in bad shape and had to be replaced. Because I could still listen to music reasonable well and mostly listen to talk radio I did not spend all that money to do it and didn't want anyone taking all different areas of my car apart. Could it be that the speakers somehow got worse and are causing this new problem ??

Just Just remember if you replace your faulty amp not it could go bad again in another fews months or year. If you're looking for the most cost effective option..I'd go aftermarket completely for the headunit, amp,sub and speaker as it will serve you better in the long run if something audio wise fails.

It happened to me last year. I was driving then suddenly heard a loud pop. Afterward no sound from radio but the navigation voice still worked. Anyway, I got my amp service by some guy from Ebay for $400 and still works. I just tried to look the for the Ebay seller but he isn't listed anymore.

Check out these companies, HiTechServ and United Radio (not sure why it's not letting me post the link)
https://www.hitechserv.com
I've used HiTechServ to repair the navigation in our SC430. I haven't used United Radio (yet) but heard they have good reviews.
