Speakerphone Mic mounting ideas or pics?
Im putting a new Pioneer unit in my 05 soon. What did you use or how do you mount your aftermarket Microphones?
I have my other on the provided clip then attached top my sun visor. Its a it low budget. I like the A-pillar area so its close to the driver.

+1 for above the rear view mirror. Originally I had tried to put it in the grate with the OEM mic but the sound quality was pretty bad.
I had an original installation from the previous owner on the A pillar but it was in a location where I thought it would foul the curtain airbags; so I would probably stay away from the A pillar as part of the deployment means that trim piece has to separate from the frame of the car. I ran the wire up the back (next to the windshield) which I figured was ok.
I considered the steering wheel but in the end the repeated movement and difficulty in finding a place to run the wire convinced me otherwise. Also the Parrot kit that I used recommends a higher installation.
Here's the link to my original writeup; it's got detailed schematics with wiring and all that (although it's an '01 most of it should still apply).
