Default Finished installing new brake rotors and pads from R1 concepts

With our state wide shelter in place ordinance I had some time to get into my garage and install my new R1 concepts rotors and pads on one of my LS430 this past weekend after work. I went with the Geomet coated slotted/drilled rotor replacements and the ceramic pads. Everything arrived in a timely manner. Fitment was perfect, installation straight forward. So far enjoying the new look and performance of this rotor.

Nice! btw what's resting on that jack stand? Is it that circular thing (I'd have to go out and snap a pic to describe), not the lca bushing?

Thanks dude! yes LCA bushing. Needed a back up spot as well the floor jack. I always like to use two points of solid contact when working under the car and with the kit its really hard to get around under her. I really need to invest in some quick jacks would have made this and many other projects so much easier!

Gotcha! I find that I cannot lift the front with the plastic in place (I don't think it's intended to be done that way), or things would be easy. If the plastic were off, then yes easy to lift from the center point. I hear you, for years I relied upon the jack and even a buddy at work said do not do that, the car isn't worth your life. Funny, he moved into a house that had a 2 post lift, and he ended up never using it, and sold it. Go figure....

Sweet brakes! Mine's gonna get centrics when its time lol (already have the rears, got the Centric fronts for whenever, rusty OE right now)

Nice and I agree it is made to be jacked up from there but the plastics really don't help. I just take my time to find the spot usually but for some reason I just went side to side this time. Also the LCA bushing is a great jack point as well sometimes if a quick lift is needed. Looking forward to seeing your new brakes mine were all old too happy to have replaced them.
