Default DIY Video - Door Lock Actuator Motor Replacement

Pulled together a rough video of how to fix your door lock actuator motor with a $10 motor (link below) instead of the several hundred $$$ the dealer charges to replace the enitre mechanism, which is unnessary. The video focuses on the door lock actuator out of the car and the steps. If you need help removing the door panel and the door lock mechanism, try searching YouTube as there are several.

Hope this is helpful to others.

Nice job on the walk thru video. I'm getting ready to do all 4 of mine since 3 of them get slow and sometimes inoperative when the car sits the hot sun too long.

I have added this thread to the 3LS LS430 FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) and DIY Thread.

Nice job. I haven't had any problems with mine but nice to see they're easy to repair when the time comes.
