Ok guys I know lots of people post but I keep finding things for 2001-2003. I own a 2006 ML, never have I had a Master key. I had two valet keys lost one key months into owning the car. I almost lost my other one a few weeks ago so I decided I should buy one. I ordered one master key and had someone program try to program it but after two hours he just couldn’t get it. He got it to turn the car on and off but no response with the transmitter or proximity auto lock. Could someone point me in the right direction.

For the 2004-2006 LS430, the car may come with or without a "SMART KEY" access system. Attached are registration procedures for both. Please note that you register the Immobilization code and the wireless code (separate procedure).
