I had to change my third horrible Interstate battery that kept on dying every time I returned from a 30 day cruise/vacation. This time I got a different brand. After I left the mechanic's shop, who replaced the battery, I proceeded with my 100 mile drive from San Diego. CA to Riverside. I found that my CD changer wouldn't load or unload any cd's and the steering wheel control for the cd wouldn't play any cd's. Is there a security code or something that needs to be done? I apologize if this question has been asked before, I tried searching the forums for an answer before posting this, however, the search forum is not user friendly. Thanks for your help, it's greatly appreciated!

The first thing to try and get your CD player playing ..... disconnect the negative terminal on the battery for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, hook the battery up and I'll bet your CD player is working again.
