Default Key Issue

I have 3 keys. Two regular keys and one valet key. The valet key is the only one that electronically opens the car doors. Does this sound like batteries? or programming issue? The cases are also in poor condition, can i just replace the housing? Where should I turn?

I just tried both my keys (one with trunk lid icon and one without) both lock and unlock the doors remotely. I doubt it is a car programing option either.

Did all remotes work properly in the past? Do you have the owner's manual?

I think a locksmith could help you.
you can get new keys, key blades and key housings on ebay. have you looked?
keys are very expensive at the dealer. I recently paid about $300 at dealer for a new smart key.
dealer here sent me to a locksmith to cut the key blade as they do not have machine to cut keys at dealer anymore.

I have bought new key fobs on eBay or from Belle Lexus in Scottsdale for about $100 each. As far as I know, you cannot just buy the plastic housing.

First, you should replace the batteries to see if that solves your problem. If not, my suggestion is to buy a new key fob. Next, either find someone with Techstream or go to the dealer and have them program each key to the car. The local dealer charged me about $65 to do this. If they get the keys to work, keep the one in the worst shape at home so you will always have a spare master. If they can't get the keys to work, they can diagnose the problem. In my area, the Lexus or Toyota dealer is much more reasonable then the local locksmiths.
