Default Help with an aftermarket stereo

I recently replaced the stock stereo with an aftermarket but I知 not getting any sound. The two connections coming from the factory wiring harness I知 only have a way to plug in the main aftermarket stereo (bigger connector) wiring harness and not the small one. What am I doing wrong here? I知 using the interface and the stereo powers on but I知 not getting any sound. Is the other small connector the issue? If so, how in the world do I connect it ?

The LS430's speakers are powered by an amplifier located in the trunk. What year model is your LS430, do you have a Pioneer or Mark Levinson sound system, and is your car equipped with Navigation?

Any idea what they did? I have tried the cruxx and the axxess harnesses and can not get the amp to turn on.
