What do you think?? 2006 LS430 Black Cherry Pearl
Hey Everyone,
I'm pretty new to the Lexus scene and wondering what your thoughts are on the price of this car. Looking around online, LS430s with the Modern Luxury package and 150,000 miles on the odometer seem to be selling for around $7,000-8,000. Why is the price of this one so high? Does the color add that much value? I know that the Cherry color is rarer than most, but that's almost a 50% difference in price.

"Easy finance programs for all types of credit"
There's a niche of small dealers who aren't necessarily selling cars per see but focus only on financing. The car is simply a "vehicle" to sell the outrageous financing rates and terms. Joey NoCredit walks in sees a pretty nice car with a decent monthly payment, spread out to the max term of course, and says where do I sign! The car itself is usually way overpriced and not negotiable.

No, the color does not add any value (although I personally would pay a premium for it). Used car prices are high at the moment, so the dealer is merely fishing for a sucker.
You seem to have a good idea of the LS 430 market. Be patient and you will be rewarded!

Thanks for the feedback! I was beginning to feel like my search would be in vain. I think that I will wait out this seller's market until a good opportunity arises. Black Cherry Pearl is my favorite color, and I would pay a slight premium for it. But, I don't think that I could justify paying thousands more for the color.
