Is it Worth Getting Into a 430 These Days??

Lots of other cars out there to choose, depending on what you want and can afford.

Ok, *** :-). I guess more explanation is needed. The ls430 has been such a great car I often ask myself why I would get rid of it (get out of it). Theres nothing out there that can replace it for the price point and what you get. So yes I would say its still worth getting into a ls these days. I mean unless you just want a appliance, then theres always the corolla. You can buy a bt45toy for these cars that also help with cell phone connectivity so it competes with newer cars.
Sorry to code that reply, guess it was harder to understand than I thought it would be.

I would agree with the others that there really is a lot to like and appreciate regarding the LS430, especially build quality, smoothness of the power train, comfort, reliability, etc.
As a daily driver, around town car, the only real downside is the fuel economy is a lot less than newer, more fuel efficient vehicles in the luxury segment, and it does not have the latest safety features. Not sure if those matter at all to the OP. It really excels as a highway cruiser. I just did a 300 mile trip into the North Cascades to see the Larch trees and after 300 miles am at half tank, ~ 27 mpg so pretty good for a V8 on the open road.
