I recently bought a used replacement jack for my 2001 LS 430, on ebay. (The old jack went missing a few years ago.) The jack from ebay is supposedly for a 2001-2006 LS 430. A sticker on the jack says "Safe Working Load 1100 kg". Is that enough? The empty car weight is 1830 kg (per specs). One does not lift the entire car when changing a tire, but I want to have a safety margin. The jack looks fine. It turns smoothly and without wobble or play through the full range of motion. It fits well in the space for the original jack. Photo attached. Thank you. Used jack, says "Safe Working Load 1100 kg", is it ok for 2001 LS 430?
That is the rating of the original jack for the LS430. 450 kg (if we assume 50/50 weight distribution across all four corners of an empty LS430) is well within the 1100 kg rating.
You should really only be using the included scissor jack in a pinch (badumtss) to lift the vehicle via the pinch welds in case of emergency, e.g. a flat tire.
I wouldn't trust a scissor jack for anything other raising a corner at a time, I made that mistake once long ago and turned a brake job into an oil pan replacement.

Need 2x that load rating or more for the below shown positions:
Positioning the jack
When raising your vehicle, position the jack correctly.
Improper placement may damage your vehicle or cause injury.
CAUTION
When raising your vehicle:
Make sure to observe the following to reduce the possibility of death or serious injury.
•Do not put any part of your body or get underneath the vehicle supported only by the jack. Always use automotive jack stands or a solid, level, surface.
•Do not start or run the engine while your vehicle is supported by the jack.
•Stop the vehicle on level firm ground, firmly set the parking brake and put the selector lever in “P” position.
•Make sure to set the jack properly at the jack point.
Raising the vehicle with an improperly positioned jack will damage the vehicle or may allow the vehicle to fall off the jack.
•Do not raise the vehicle with someone in the vehicle.
•When raising the vehicle, do not place any objects on top of or underneath the jack.
