2004 ls430 w/mark levinson and nav with yatour....12 pin or 20 pin

hey sha400, yea I know it’s been a long time since this thread and I’d imagine you would think I already have this thing installed haha. But that’s life. I was reading this thread again and I know you said the steering wheel controls worked for volume and skipping tracks but was your yatour unit a Bluetooth adapter or only for media adapter? I ask because I wanna hook my iPhone up via Bluetooth and then stream Spotify and skip tracks with steering wheel controls.
Also I know you said you were able to cycle thru Oem cd changer and yatour via pressing the cd button on the bottom row but did the other buttons work?? Saw a bad review on AliExpress about not being able to use the bottom row of buttons, but I guess he used the 20 pin connector. I remember you said you initially used the 6+6 connector and later switched to 20pin connector. Regardless of which which connector you used, did the bottom row of buttons for you always remain operational? Is the AliExpress review true?? The am gm still worked for you?
Thanks again for your help

For Facelift with NAV and other models with the 6+6 pin connector

Can't comment on other models as mine is a 2004 with the 6+6 connector.
What will work with yours depends on what connectors you have on the back of the radio.
All of their Toyota/Lexus stuff can be seen here.

Yes I'm not sure for pre face lift none nav ml it seems like it's 20 pin but I'm not sure, maybe I'll just take apart mine before I try the AliExpress one. But there is that German bt one linked above but that's only 6 pin

The German BlueMusic does a 5+7 connector unit as well as the 6+6 connector, but I don't think the 5+7 is used by many LS430s.
It may be that the earlier radio units don't have the 2nd CD player option or the connector that allows the later radio units to connect to external devices.
Below you can see the three LS430 radio types I have seen.
