2006 LS430 Price Advise
I'm about to buy a 2006 LS430 (not UL) with 99,000 miles for $11,500 (before TTL). The vehicle is in great condition, 1-owner and all services were meticulously performed at Lexus dealerships, including timing belt and water pump at 90K miles.
Is this a good deal? or I can do better? I feel it's a big high but I know there are competition out there to get clean vehicle.

It's around an average dealer price for a facelift with that mileage and up-to-date all Lexus service. All three of those add a premium. Maybe a bit high given it's not a UL/CL. If you go private market you might get in the 9K-10K range. People do get some occasional good deals (sub 8K) for this mileage and condition from private sellers but I don't think it's very common.
If you need to buy relatively soon, it's close by, and in overall good shape (body and interior-wise), I would try to negotiate closer to 10K. Make sure you check brakes, tires, fluids, etc. (Edit: also all internal buttons and electronics, trunk struts, hood struts, lights, any deferred maintenance, etc.) Use everything to negotiate down.
Depends on your budget, but I feel like it's worth it to pay a bit of a premium for a car you like. God forbid you spend months searching instead of enjoying your new LS.

I would still pay a premium for the right car in the right condition. $11,500 OTD wouldn't be bad for a car that presents well with good maintenance records. Remember, nothing else from that era is going to come close to what an LS430 offers. Also worth noting, even a well maintained car at that mileage is still probably going to need some work, sooner or later so factor that in also.

Seems a little high, but once again for the right car a few dollars one way or the other does not matter that much. However, be prepared regardless of miles, to spend some bucks to get the car the way you want. The bucks add up quickly so have it in mind.

All Keys, Books. (not sure mats, but not a big deal, I always change it)
White/ Tan combo.
I don't have a picture, just video because it has been long distance dealing and they finally have the part in (the previous owner damaged the hood going into his garage). Car looks clean, except for the major wear on the center arm rest, it turn to almost black.

If you're in Texas, I'd say focus on finding a Texas car. I'd be nervous about a car that has had exposure to winter. If you're dead set on this car, make sure you get a pre purchase inspection to make sure it isn't a rust bucket.

I couldn't agree more. Winters and salt are the enemy here. For that money I'd look for a dryer climate state.

So I countered to $11,000 and they declined. I guess there must be a lot of hungry buyers out there.

For that kind of money focus on cars from sunbelt or western states. My car has spent 90% of its life in sunbelt and it looks almost brand new on the outside and underside.
