Hi, looking for the best way to ground my amp. Having issues finding a solid location so I can hide all the wiring and whatnot. Trying to keep my amp in the trunk, just seeing where you guys have grounded yours and if you have photos of the ground connection.

 

Where is your amp? I use whatever factory nut/stud/bolt is closest. Make sure you are in fact getting metal on metal contact.

 

Just loose in the trunk currently, but close to the back. My only ground wire I got left is pretty short so I'm currently limited. wanted to see what some options were before I got something longer. I have it hooked up to a bolt and I sanded off all the paint, but I'm having frequent issues with the amp not powering on so far so I think it's a bad ground. this is my first install so I'm just doing a bunch of trial and error on placement before I drill it in, want to make sure its done right

 

There is a factory grounding point on the left hand side of the boot/inner guard under the trim , remove the trim and you will see it .
