Tranny Slipping
I have 168 k On my ls430 06
the car runs and looks like brand new
just last week the car start slipping I was cruising at 75 when I lost acceleration and notice the RPM going 5-6 for few then it was normal then it happened one more time in at take of speed it only last few second
I have not service my tranny because there is no stick dip.there is no mention of when to
Last time I run diagnosis “ Vsc light “
I got
“Tranny shift control solenoid “ code
but after fixing the Vsc and reset all good until now

well if I had a brand new Lexus I would do my first drain and fill at about 60,000 miles and then every 30,000 miles after that however if you have never done it and are just now thinking about it then I would get some more opinions.
maybe a full fluid exchange or maybe leave it alone as some have done nothing and made it to 300,000 miles.
could just need fluid level adjusted after all these years.
some Lexus dealers will do transmission service, but that might mean different things at different dealers
good luck

I completed 5 transmission drain and fills over the past 6 months between 135-140K (had never been done before) and my transmission definitely shifts much smoother now. I did not feel much of a difference after the first two, but after the last three, I noticed a significant improvement. The next step is to drop the pan and do the filter.
You didn't mention your car's model year, but I also have occasional hard downshifts which are fairly common on 04-06 models with the 6 speed. Many others on the forum & FB groups have sent their ECUs to SIA Electronics or Relentless Motorsports for repair by resoldering portions of the ECM.
