Hi there Lexus friends!
I was wondering if anyone can give me feedback on converting my 2003 Lexus LS430 UL, from air suspension to COILOVERS...
1. I DON'T want to lower my car...
2. I DON'T want a hard ride...
3. I DO want a regular ride height...
4. I DO want it to ride soft and comfy...
Can anyone tell me, in the $500 to $900 price range...what brand name is the best for what I want...?
Megan's...? BC Racing...? ISC...? Manzo MZ...? Function and Form...?
AND...
What are the STOCK spring rates for the front and rear struts on my LS430...
Somewhere I read that the Factory Stock front Spring Rate is... 5.26 kg... And... the Factory Stock rear Spring Rate is 3.30...
That seems really LOW... is that ACCURATE...?
In another place I read that the front spring rate is 10 kg, and the rear is 8 kg...
Sssooo...
Any input from ANYONE will be greatly appreciated!

If you don't want the adjustability, why coilovers? You'd be better off getting stock non-UL type strut assemblies.

 

Agreed. Get the KYB struts to replace the air models. There are several threads to be found on what that entails. May want to check the LCA bushings as well….
