Default Engine and Transmission Mount Part Numbers

Hello everyone. I am trying to confirm the part numbers for the engine mounts and transmission mount for my 2005 LS430. I did some searching on the forums, but was unable to find a thread or post with the part numbers. So far from my search, I have these part numbers

1. Lexus 12361-50170 (2x engine mounts)
2. Lexus 12371-50170 (1x transmission mount)

Are these the correct part numbers?

What is wrong with the front motor mounts from Rock Auto?

Granted they are probably built in China, But so is a lot of stuff. Are they any good?

OEM mounts are fluid filled hydraulic mounts to absorb vibrations. Cheap aftermarket mounts are hard rubber "spacers" that fill the gap between the frame and engine. You get what you pay for.

I don't have any experience with motor mounts from rock auto. I just choose to go with OEM replacements whenever I can.

Default Lexus Motor Mounts

Previous responder “911LE” (#5) is correct!

From my experience:
Use only Motor Mounts made by Lexus!
Ads may say oem - but they are not hydraulic
and do not perform as well, because they
are only rubber. For this motor mount - please
do not waste your time and money.
Order only from a Lexus dealer’s website.
Cost should be about $150 to $180 for each
of the front two mounts. Pay the price.

Because they are so important to dampening
vibrations, and a really make for a superior ride,
they are easily worth the extra cost.

From my experience, I went for the cheaper
motor mounts ($80 each), and I regretted it.

Good luck & enjoy.

+1 on using only Lexus parts for engine mounts. I went the cheap way with aftermarket parts on my ES300 It it did not pay off at all.
Here's a thread from the this forum that may help when it's time to start buying those parts: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...-ls-430-a.html I've ordered from www.Amayama.com quite a few times but ONLY when I did not need parts in a hurry. Yes, you do pay expensive shipping rates but the OE parts are usually so much lower in price that you'll still end up saving a bunch of money. Again, only order from them if you have the time to wait.
Also, it helps a bunch to have your VIN number readily available for searching out the parts needed.
Good luck!
