What do you mean "has oil?" If the VVT is leaking, it should be replaced. Very easy and inexpensive DIY. But don't break the wire connector which may be brittle from heat.

Not wanting to be rude here, but can you add some more information? It's really hard to know what you are talking about or asking.

What oil leak? I can't tell from the pic if there is an oil leak. More likely It's oil that is tracking across a hose or cable and dripped down into the plug.

if the solenoid truly has failed in a way that oil was being forced out through the electrical connector, it would be the first time I have ever seen that and a large chance you would have other symptoms too like an engine code or rough running.

Do you have any engine codes or rough running?

What do you want to replace? The whole solenoid? Or just the plug part?

Personally if your car is running fine and no codes then I would degrease the plug and keep an eye on it.

But If you really want to replace them anyway, get some from rock auto or genuine.
