Default vsc warning then goes away

My 2003 LS430 started displaying a vsc warning, beep, red triangle, when starting the car several days ago. The mechanic is busy, I'm busy, the car seems okay other than the warning, so we made an appointment for next week.

This morning I drove it twice and the warning did not appear.

What's going on? What does this mean :-)

Thanks.

You need to read the P code first. The memory is holing the code.

You need to plug in a code reader to the ODB2 port and read the error codes (P-Codes).
If you don't have a reader, you can take it to any repair shop and they can read the codes, for a fee.
