Air Strut Seepage During Shipping?
Hey all!
New owner of a less-than-pristine '05 UL and have a bit of a concern that I'm having a hard time finding an answer to on here. Nearly all of the struts were shot, so I found a shop in UAE on a FB group that came highly recommended by a few of the members who are stateside. Just got the new (to me) struts in and notice that they all had some kind of seepage from the air lines. The inner cardboard box was pretty saturated, so I'm wondering if this is just a result of not plugging the lines or if it's a bigger issue? If it is the former, then can I just get new fluid and fill them back up? I was under the impression that the dampening was separate from the air section of the struts, but this is my first foray in the air suspension world. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
