Rear electric sunblind was broken when purchased the car. It still made movement and noise but the blind would not come up. I was going to replace it, but while I had the car dismantled replacing the sub, I decided to remove the blind to see what was wrong with it. Turns out the motor and arms were still operational, but the actual blind/curtain which covers the window had slipped of the bar at the top. I think it just moves around a bit with time and use.
Super Easy Fix, heres how:
1. Remove seats and trim
2. Remove blind
3. Remove blind clip at one end of the bar at top (pull blind out a bit to see how it rolls out)
4. Slide out the white round plastic beading running length of the bar
5. Feed the beading back on to the bar thru the grove (make sure its even at both ends)
6. Put the clip back on the end (one little screw, make sure its fully tight)
7. Reinstall blind and interior

P.s. I actually damaged the blind recently (FYI dont put lots of hats on the parcel tray!) and I have purchased another one. So I will be able to post pics for the above fix and the new install when it arrives
