Please Help! Check engine lights 2004 LS430 195,000
2004 LS430. P2757 TCC performance or stuck off. I’m trying to diagnose this issue but am having a difficult time knowing what I am looking for.
I ran an active test with Techstream. I can turn ON and OFF the SLU solenoid when I am traveling over 45mph. So, it seems the communication is there. It seems like the clutch is engaging just fine. But perhaps the specs are off. I have captured a freeze frame. I’m not sure exactly what sort of differences I should be looking for between the Input rpm and Output rpm. Transmission is A761E 6 speed.
Please let me know if there are any test I can perform or if I am at the end of the road before the pan needs to be dropped. My understanding is that access is needed into the transmission to actually see what is going on because there is no way to test the TCC.

Hello,
Do you feel that the torque converter is engaging when you manually control it?
Not sure if that would work out, but try engaging the solenoid when the ignition is on but the engine is off, see if you can hear the click of the solenoid, if not, you may need to take the pan off and check the power coming to it, if that's good, take the solenoid out and connect it straight to the battery to see how it operates. While not common, it is not that rare for those solenoids to fail, especially with such mileage.
Hope this helps and best of luck!

im going to let my shop drop the pan and check it out. I don’t have access to the equipment to lift the car and make it an easier job, so I will let them take a look.
thanks for the reply. It has been driving me crazy.

Hello, I have Lexus IS 250 from 2006 year with automatic transmission and I have codes P2757 and C1201. I changed the solenoid, oil and filter for the transmission.
Are these codes connected with the ecm and tcm, should I buy knew computer or the problem is with transmission? Has anyone solved this problem?
