Hammered at $29,500. Unreal. Nice but not that nice. That's almost half the price of when it was new, 16 years ago.
Makes me wonder if I could get $20k for mine and turn around and then get a GS F or an RC F...
Seriously though, if you have a clean, well kept and well maintained LS430, make sure you examine your insurance coverage given some of these prices.

My final comment...the one on Car Gurus in Maryland sold one day later. Perhaps the losing bidder? That one did have service history according to Lexus Owners Site. Hmmm, $19k vs. $29.5k? I would have taken the 19.. $10k can address some minor body flaws and still leave you with dough!

^ not to mention the other nice ones on sale WAY below $ 19K, like the one in Portland I posted about for 16K, Or a 05 UL with PCS/radar for $ 7.5 K, it does need a rear bumper cover but has a full dealer history and low miles, nice black nappa interior etc. 141K miles but that is nothing on a 3UZ-FE.
But, BaT bidders apparently don't think like I do. . .

It depends on the car. BAT buyers sometime pay inflated prices for nice cars that are still available for less in the real world. Some of it is "auction-itis" where people get excited and overpay. Maybe some BAT buyers are wealthy and bored. There are still great private sale deals. I've seen several super clean well maintained LS's w/ under 100k sell locally for 10-12k. Still nice to see the world's best car sell on BAT for a great price.

Honestly places like BaT is the bane of my existence because once these sell for 25k or more on there every bimbo in the country that has one is gonna think theirs is worth that or close to it with no paperwork and double the miles just like when Matt Farrah has his "Million Mile" LS400 every one i saw being sold mentioned "million mile" motor.. no paperwork 270k miles asking 10k
