the passenger side window (when controlled by the passenger side switch) only goes down, it will not come back up.
using the driver side controls, I can bring the passenger window back up with no issues though

any ideas on why this is? failing switch on the passenger side maybe?

Likely a little corrosion on the switches. It's pretty straight forward to pop the switch out and use a file or emery paper to remove the corrosion.

Probably just a bad contact. when I was young my father taught me to keep a jar of Vaseline Petroleum Jelly handy. Every time I take apart an electrical connection I grease it with Jelly when I put it together. Really works.

Down side is to be sure the connection is tight.
