As of right now:
Black one, or "Rusty" is at $13,500 with 3 days left.
Moonlight Pearl, or "Mooney" is at $15,500 with 5 days left.
My vote is Rusty will cap at $22k, Mooney will go to $28k.

11,000 miles loses a tremendous amount of value with that much rust. The rust we see is addition to the rust that is lurking within the electrical system as well as the body panels beneath the paint. Of course there will be someone who is going to pay premium dollars for this car as the market reflects this. It won't be the crazy numbers we've seen before but it is certain to be too much for a car with this extensive rust.

I think this is still a great car rust aside, it's not on body panels from what I can see. Just the suspension members seem to have it from sitting somewhere not sealed, it's strange though. My 250k 02 doesn't have any rust like that on it and it's an Ohio car

7:40 AM MDT - Rusty is at $17,430 (no joke on the end there) and Mooney is at $16,500. I am thinking of @S8ULATR 's comments last time. This is a game and either 2 friends having fun with each other or 1 person bidding on both. It annoys me since they are skewing the market for those of us like this forum who truly care about these cars.
If you have play money, go bid on an Aston Martin or something, and take your hands off these ultimately usable, practical gems.

I'm getting way too good at this. Rusty sold for $21,249.
@Margate330 , I'll let you off the hook this time.

The moonlight car is pretty clean but damn the things they overlooked cleaning irks my ocd. Why is the undercarriage and suspension so clean but there are wipe marks on underbody plastic panels. And no one thought to pull the wheels and clean the wheels and tires inside and out. Interior detailing could be better. I mean damn vacuum those carpets and leave some nice lines in them, I can't tell if the carpets are dirty or just messed up by feet. Vacuum them up and if someone has to drive the car touch it up before pics. brush the damn headliner to get lines out of it. I'm nitpicking of course but these guys want top dollar for these cars, they need to detail them like they are entering them at a high end car show. The exterior looked pretty good, but they let me down on the undercarriage and interior. and the trunk carpet. A new set of tires would have probably gotten a good ROI as well. Clean car though. Rusty on the other hand. Not detailed very well and a lot of rust. Not just surface rust. That sway bar looked like it was about to rust through by the end link. geez.

@Margate330 , hah! That is a nice one. Consider us "settled up". Man, I got to pay attention to the wording in those contracts! We'll see how I do with Mooney. 1 more day.
@mykvr6 , agreed about a little touch-up, but I also like the message there that they don't "need" to detail, but one thing I detest is dash chemicals, so I find any picture gross that displays a glossy dash, door panels, and components.
