Default UCF31 Celsior Turn on only fog lights no DLR on.

So i've been searching for awhile now how to turn on only fog lights with no other lights on.

I saw this on many japanese Celsiors having only their yellow fog lights on while driving.I'll attach a photo. When i try doing it i can only turn them on with DLR lights on.
Ive been thinking about just unplugging those to get a cheap solution but for the long term that wouldn't be great.

Maybe someone can help me with this "problem" since im not that great with electrical work being in my 1st year of apprenticeship

Not my Photo, pulled from Tiktok.

Just be aware your DRL are actually your high beams running at half-voltage. So if you were to disconnect them you wouldn't have any high beams to use at night.

Just use LEDs in the high beam spot and they won't turn on unless the high beams are on without a DRL adapter

You'd have to cut the drl trigger wire for the high beams and connect it to a relay that triggers the fog lights. Would be a lot of work.

I dont think thats the case on the facelift model because theres two separate bulbs in the middle housing. One little bulb in the top and the high beam in the middle. I'll try taking out the small bulb and see what it does, i dont see how they would be connected to eachother. I'll attach further pictures and info when i can.

The little bulb in the high beam housing turns on with the headlights. Same as the 2GS. The high beam running at 30% voltage is the DRL.
