Default Triple gauge pod

The mold is done , the resin mixed , coloured and poured and now the pod has been sat down into the curing resin .
It will be fully cured by the morning ( 21:00 here now in Brisbane Australia ) and then it will be time to wire in the IAT gauge , the wideband gauge and the boost gauge .
It's gunna be awesome !!

Your steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car.

Seems like that'll be pretty cool. Have it leather wrapped.

Ha , I quite often say that to you guys !!
That is a thought as I had not considered leather wrapping it.
Will have to think about that, maybe bright yellow leather ??

If you wrap it in bright yellow leather I will disown you. Don't be a fool.

Did I get you good ??
Probably it will just stay black .
I think there might be a few others who will disown me just for putting a triple pod up on the dash .
Even I'm not 100% convinced , however it has to be and when I turn the key and the gauges do their little start up dance I will not care !!

If all the cars to hack up for a performance build why a 430? Doesn't it make sense to hack up something that wasn't so carefully made and quality in the first place? Like a Holden or something would way better for a speed build no?

Cos it's not a performance build , it's just enhanced a little bit , plus I like owning the best built cars in the world .
I don't go much over the speed limit , I just want to get there faster , the HP I have now is about what the car should have had from new !!
By the way how dear you swear on this forum !!

I'm guessing you are a Toyota guy then Groot. ;-)
I went to a race at Bathurst back in the late 70s and got to see one of the legendary Ford/Holden mini-riots after the lead car (Ford) got rammed off the track by a Holden.
Funniest thing I ever saw. Grown men fighting over brand names.
However, I was glad I'd left my Ford (******) t-shirt at home. <LOL>

Why not get the apexi digital triple gauge and mount in with a single din headunit in the radio area? This is what I am talking about would look much stealth and not be in the way of seeing the road.

I'm using JRP gauges and they are fairly new to the market but building really good stuff .
https://www.justraceparts.com.au/spa...gauge-52mm-lcd
As to blocking my view I can still see the edge of the bonnet and guard over the top of the pod as it's quite a low profile so not restricting my vision at all , I was very conscious of that when first mocking it up .
I think I'm going to really like it and part of that is being a bit different and running to my own plan plus these are necessary gauges so need to be able to be seen without taking your eyes off the road .
I'm so hesitant to drill a cable access hole in the dash as its undoable , however its nothing a dash mat wouldn't cover !!
I'll post some pics when its done .
