Default Transmission issue or possibly a fuel issue?

I have an 04 LS 430 and have an ocassional issue i can't figure out. Under normal conditions the car shifts and drives fine even when it is cold but at times if i drive it a little more aggressively I get a bogging feel. If i have to accelerate heavily and then come to a stop i get a slight jerking feeling and some major hesitation trying to build up speed. When i experience this issue and get home to park shifting from reverse to drive causes a jump up in rpm and a quick plunge in rpm followed by a sudden jerking feeling. I have no lights on at all and really have no clue as to exactly what it could be. I can go weeks without the issue and sometimes it happens twice in a week. Has anybody else experienced a similar issue?

Sounds like my issue. Jury's stll out whether this is slack in the transmission or perhaps the ECU.

Have you taken it to a shop?

Shops are useless, in my experience. Even the local Lexus expert couldn't help me with basic suspension issues.

So the problem happens after you drive aggressively. It's heat related. I worry that it's an ECU's soldering crack issue.

I feel like sending my ECU in for repair just because that seems like the easiest and least costly thing to try, after having replaced my engine mounts.

100% agree. I dread taking my LS Into a shop and I refuse to go to a Lexus dealer

I have the same issue and I think the general consensus is it's cracked solder joints on the ECU. Seems like a fairly common problem with the LS
