My son a just got his 1st car. A 2008 LS 460 Base This is the CAR he "HAD" to have and has a few things that need to be done. And I we are trying to replace the rear strut assemblies. We got the old out but having difficulty getting the new in and compressed enough to get it on the lower strut location. any pointers or links to a GOOD video on this would be appreciated. Also wanting to know if anyone has the torque specs for all the bolts in the rear suspension system if I have to teat this down even further to get the new in. I looked for service manuals online but I see like 6 volumes and crazy high Prices. Thank you in advance!

I was able to install mine by forcing the whole thing down, however, it might not work for everybody. I believe, I had to remove sway bar link, it was a while ago...
Thanks anfanger not sure why I didn’t think I could push the whole steering knuckle etc down, I guess I didn’t think it would travel that far, working like a charm, removed and replaced the second side in like 20 minutes.
