Something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. An auction is the definition of market value, if multiple bidders brought the car to there...thats what its worth.

Nice rides, it seems like the L models are hard to find in low mileage nice condition.

I’ve seen high mileage cars that look like they only have a few thousand miles on them because the owners take great care of their cars, while some lower mileage vehicles can look beat to crap and uncared for.

L models are cherished for a reason, it’s the best way to experience owning a LS460 hands down especially if it’s fully loaded. True luxury flagship at its finest that truly competes with the other luxury flagship sedans. Not saying that a SWB LS460 isn’t a great car, but it definitely doesn’t feel as special like the L model with additional features and much more rear seat leg room.

The longer rear doors gives the car a better appearance as well. Including the feeling of someone of importance is sitting in the rear seat taking business calls and or on their laptop doing their work, being chauffeured to a fancy hotel etc..

Agreed. The bad part is when you start using the back seat like a truck. I fit a kinko's size copy machine and a queen sized foam mattress(just folded in half) back there. This car is NOT meant to be used as a truck, but....

6 days left already at 17.3k, and looks like the interior hasn't been replaced? That's too bad

The dealer did some weird repair to the front door panels due to melting.

Hey now, I got the old man tan interior and it’s a beauty 😎😁. PITA to keep clean though. Every smudge shows.

Issue IMO is more the tan exterior...

Color is so dependent on location. I wouldn’t drive a car with a black interior in the sun belt. Likewise a white car looks out of place in the northeast.

My 07 looks just like that 2011 above, minus the wheels. Personally at first I didn’t like like the gold/tan exterior, because it is sorta “Grandmaish”, but I’ve gotten used to it, and honestly it’s easy to spot in parking lots and it stands out compared to the thousands of every other black, gray, white, red, blue, silver exterior vehicles on the road.

The only reason why I bought my gold 460 was because of the loaded options, it being an L model with air, and it’s overall nice condition for its age and mileage.

Sometimes you have to go with what’s available at the time within your vicinity, and because there’s not too many nice 460’s in the LWB form with just about every option available in the car including the ML sound system for a low price, you have to jump on the opportunities that come your way.

I just wish I had the stock chrome 18 inch wheels on my car because those wheels really do make these cars pop out a bit more. The gray aluminum wheels suck IMO and are rather dull looking.

With absolute no recall work done, I wouldn't touch with 10 feet pole.

I'd rather have one that had never been touched by a dealer. So the recall thing wouldn't bother me.

My thoughts exactly, having worked with a lot of techs over the years the fact is there's lots of hacks in the service dept. I've always found it ironic that most people are negative about service dept's but they want that history on record for purchases.
