Broke High Pressure Fuel Pump Connector
I decided to take on replacing my high pressure fuel pump gaskets, which I found a great tutorial on. However, I broke the electrical connector to the fuel pump, seen in image below.
I looked at local junkyards just now and they sell the whole high pressure pump unit for $60-80, which is UNBELIEVABLY cheap.
I might be answering my own question here, but is my best bet to just replace the whole part, or can I replace the top part with the connector I broke off that bolts on with 3 bolts?
Im thinking I just replace the whole pump if its only gonna be $80 from a junkyard..
Also, I'm betting this is a first in the community as far as stupidity with not being careful enough around the high pressure fuel pump, so congratulations to me!!

I am going to tackle this in a while, yea I was warned the cost of breaking the connector is a new fuel pump. Can you share the tutorial please?
I would go with used pump route as it farly straightforward swap if things go sideways. Make sure you replace the gasket and orings (all)
FUEL PUMP SPACER GASKET - 23224-38010 ( Qty 2 )
FUEL PUMP INSULATOR - 23915-46011 ( Qty 2 )
O-RING - 90301-A0029 ( Qty 4 )
PULSATION DAMPER GASKET - 23279-74010 ( Qty 4)

Unfortunately no junkyards are open on Saturday. I'll have to get this fixed on Monday, and I will end up just replacing the whole pump for peace of mind.

Pole Position
Those pumps should be around $100-200 on Ebay, they usually don't break so the prices are not bad.
